Health Beauty Love, Orlando, FL, has been issued a warning from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for selling a tincture mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose, or cure COVID-19. The agencies reviewed the company’s website on June 26, 2020, and July 7, 2020, respectively, as well as social media. Based on the review, FDA said that the product is an unapproved new drug sold in violation of section 505(a) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
